FURTHER INFO
Our camp goals are to provide an ideal forum for prospective student-athletes to display their athletic and baseball talents to the Catholic University baseball coaching staff. Our format will also provide instruction to improve each player's fundamental skills and prepare players to the fullest for their potential college baseball careers. The camp will emphasize pitching, individual defensive position play, hitting fundamentals, base running, strength and agility training, and live or simulated game competition.
Participants will be tested and evaluated in key skills areas including: arm strength, running speed, hitting, pitching, catching, throwing, fielding and base running during our pro style showcase/evaluation sessions and position-specific instructional skill development sessions.
During lunch, an Academics & College Baseball Experience Forum will be held covering the unique features of Catholic University and the Cardinal Baseball program, our academic requirements and expectations, the college recruiting and admissions process, and a Q&A with Catholic U. coaches and current players.
